Hi all, I quite like a Tag Formula 1 and as they're are Quartz, has anyone bought a DHgate shitter formula 1 and have been happy with it?

I'd like a formula 1 quartz just as my daily beater and they're quite rare on TD sites.

There is a thread around here about that. I have the gen version of the one posted. IMO it looks awful.

Why not buy a Gen? You can get a new one for 800 bucks if you look around on Jomashop. Or get a nice used one. Tag is one of those brands I go for the 2 year interest free financing. Also always haggle with the dealer. You can typically get a 20 to 30 percent discount at the right AD. Ultimately it's your choice. Now if it was a tourbillon that is a different story ;) Tags are a great watch and the formula are workhorses.

Can’t agree more, this was my first good watch purchased new in 2008. Was the only one I wore up until around 2014ish when the watch sickness came over me. Zero blemishes and keeps perfect time, not bad for $800 on Amazon.

I’ll never sell it.

Bought this recently, wanted it so bad but could only afford the F1

It’s old but I still love it. Did some brushing and polishing but only paid $850 for it. Was $3k new I think.

If interested I’m probably going to list this, it’s a Swiss sellita movement purchase here like 2 weeks ago, it’s just to damn big for me. If interested send me a pm otherwise I’ll get to it when I get to it. Looking for what I paid, $200 plus shipping

Not a bad idea. Gonna be on the look out.
