I'll let some of the Panerai experts chime in but the movement looks gen.

The dial dots look properly raised like half-spheres. The movement also looks to be gen based on micrometric screw length, the shape of the Y-incabloc and swan neck shape among other things. The seller does not want to divulge the true providence of the watch (might have been stolen from a beach resort for all we know, so near the sea might be kind of accurate).

The CG pin does looks flat, not like modern PAMs with the edges slightly chamfered before being pushed in (it's supposed to be an N-series based on the pictures). The CG also has a gap to the mid case although that could just be loose screws.

TBH, I didn't find something "funny". the watch looks legit, and someone who likes white pams will take it for the fraction of the price for sure

Probably missing half the strap because the original owner fought back...

New seller profile says from the US but shipping from another country. Lots of red flags on this listing.

This is INTERESTING!
The watch and movement are clearly fake, but he modded the movement. The winding gear bevels are polished and the train wheels are brushed and gold plated (or genuine). Only Marlin and Goin are doing stuff like this as far as I know.
I didn't think it is possible one of those would make their way in the bay.
Boy this is interesting :)
Oh - and please report, yes.

-Egg shaped zero= rep DSN
-winding gears=Asian
-Gear train is swiss
-CG lever=rep

lots going on here, but some effort has been made to make it appear genuine at least.
thanks for the input, glad to see my eye was right :) and somehow eBay has not removed it and somebody bought it
