Have you ever seen a full gold PAM rep?

Can DSN make full gold Luminor style cases? Or anybody else?

many people have reps that were even more expensive than 1500$ but although i've never seen a full gold PAM on the replica forums.

Question for PAM specialists: How heavy is a good Luminor steel case?
(an 18K gold case would be twice the weight because the specific weight of 18K gold is 15,45g / cm3 and the specific weight of steel is 7,85g / cm3)

I think usually pam cases are made by a turning lathe. In case of gold you had a huge loss in gold. A gold case must be forged.

So who can forge me a 18K Luminor gold case?

No loss if you're carefull AP. Ive turned silver before. Clean down and place white paper on top of the bed. If your tools are propperly sharp you get nice, big spirals of swarf that are easy to collect and re-melt. You would only be useing scrap gold anyways. Same applies with a mill. Test your collecting skills with steel or brass first however. Brass is worth collecting anyway if you're doing a fair bit of it.

As trailboss said, any jeweler with half a brain will collect the gold scraps. Remelting them is no problem whatsoever..

I dont see why it should be "forged", it makes so much more sense to cast it.. Make the case in wax, make your mold and cast the gold in it.. Then you just have to even the material out and machine the interior
