Up for sale today is this G-shock copy that I somehow own. In my early G-Shock fascination days I fell for this scam, and purchased it believing it was legit. What a noob!
Anyway, aesthetically the watch is ok: metal bezel, metal screw-in caseback, decent resin strap. Weight is off (76g vs 96g) but from a feature standpoint we are in a totally different space. This quartz module has only the basic complications (time, 1 alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer) plus a couple of features (light, power save mode). Thus is lacking all the relevant tech this watch has as gen (solar, bluetooth and multiband 6). The model number GMW-B5000 and module number 3459 are correctly printed on the back.
On the other hand the watch is “like new” because I never used it, never wore it even. Will ship inside a Casio G-Shock tin with card and tag.
I am putting it for sale in the hope that someone will appreciate to test a new watch for a little money. Also I believe it could be a nice material for customization (not sure about compatibility though).
Since the shipping cost are not shrinkable, I put a very low price on the watch itself: 25€ plus 20€ for EU shipping.
