Simply, TrustyTime does not keep an accurate catalog. I’ve tried multiple times to buy, only to be informed the selected watch was no longer made. The simple things, like keeping an updated catalog, can go a long way.

Do some research on the watches you're thinking of buying, then you'll know for yourself which ones are still in production and which ones aren't - simple.

This isn’t news. It’s been that way since at least when I joined this forum. Just gotta ask every time you want a certain watch

i have a big word document of the watches I want from the various dealers. I go down the list and inquire about each one. I delete the links of the out of production watches

I am not happy that the restaurant doesn't spoonfeed me, and they didn't inform me they are running out of pasta today. If they spoonfeed me can go a long way.

Your complaint is valid if this was a legal business where supply chains can be tracked.

But this is an illegal underground industry where stock comes in and out of supply faster than anything. One day the factory is open, the next day it's closed because it got raided.

One day the factory is making this model, the next day, it's gone because the supplier that made their bezel got arrested.

I have experienced it many times.

Even the dealers don't know. It's a day to day, week to week, month to month basis. And it always has been.

Complaining about shit like this is like complaining water is wet. If you don't like it, don't play the game.

Also, here's a pro tip on trusty's website.

If you look at the bottom and use your eyes you can see when the model was posted on the website.

So if you see the model was posted on the website basically before 2021 then you can probably assume the model is no longer made. In fact even models posted 1 year ago still need to be double checked.

Oh, and if you complain why they don't constantly keep the website updated, well, there are thousands of models on that website added over 10 years. You want them to a hire a full time team to manage their website but keep their pricing competitive?

There, I fixed it for you. Now, you probably should consider a different hobby as you don't want to take the time to learn how the game is played. Some dealers don't even keep an actual website as it's cumbersome and creates confusion as it has for you. I suggest you pause, read up on the new member stickies @eBoy or @Feefo usually post and then contact the dealer directly to see if the model you are looking for is in stock or available in the marketplace. Out of curiosity, what were you looking to buy?
