From Breitling to Panerai

Hi,

I really like Breitlings, but since i am reading a lot on this forum growing more towards Panerai watches. I was curious what you guys think about this one? The PAM 127 aka Fiddy:

I'm glad your're reday to get a rep for 400$, But I don't beleive it worth getting screwed!
Josh (the site you named) used to be trusted dealer here, but he isn't anymore (Still approved on other fora). Nevertheless, older member don't use him as much because he's more expensive than the other for the same product, meaning that you could get this watch at a cheaper price elsewhere. Do some searching!
On the other hand, spend just a little more and get yourself a DSN or a Little Hero (now selling Pam111h at 700$) and those watches are truly going to be awesome (Some say that LH are better than gen)

How can a rep be better than a gen? The gen is the standard, the bar, impossible to make a rep BETTER than the gen. If you did it wouldn't be a rep, it would be it's own gen. A rep strives to be as good as a gen, not the other way around.

I may be wrong, that sentence just confuses me is all.

I just got a Pam 161 from HONT and paid $147 Total with Shipping. It's a 21J, but the quality of the piece looks great to me. I have a GEN Breitling SuperOcean and to me this REP was well worth the $147. Personally I don't see a reason to pay $400.
