Before, I'm not much of a PAM fan and more into AP but recently a developed a curiosity with PAMs (thanks to PAM fanatic's posts, this is your fault

), so for the love of this hobby i'll try a PAM372 or 565, whichever is more relaible, i prefer 372 which has a decent price considering it's my first. Doing my research i found the latest from KW with UNITAS 6497-2, released early Feb. I checked Noob and SF superclone and they where released long time back. Seems SF stands out with 72+ hrs power reverse, in that case how long is the power reserve for KW and Noob? In addition, KW has darker straps and blue screws on the movement, that's the only thing i know right now. Also having an eye for 565 but not sure which is better, V6F or ZF. My main concern is reliability.

I would really appreciate any advice from PAM experts before i finalize my purchase.

EDIT: there's a rumor about the PAM605 that will be released after CNY...hope it's true

Thanks.

Get the noob 372. Neither movement is correct and the one in the noob is more reliable with less to go wrong. Plus it's the most accurate on the wrist. Cheaper too, no?

I'd also go with the 372, but be aware that there is a new version coming from ZF after CNY.

372:

Almost every factory has released a 372 version. The best ones are noob and SF, the first more accurate on the dial and cheaper, the latter has a new clone movement with 72+ hours reserve that's more accurate (although an expert would realize immediately it's not a gen movement).
Other versions are not worth the money imho, my choice is the noob for reliability, price and dial.

PAM 565 is a very recent release, I have not read any review about it, but being it essentially a 359 with brushed midcase I assume it's a good rep.

Btw 372 is 47 mm and 565 is 44 mm, you might take this into consideration as well :)

which one are you planning to take buddy? Noob or the latest which is from KW/V6F?

kilowattore advised Noob or SF to be most reliable, any idea on V6F?

Spent late nights reading threads about PAMs and its creating more confusion lols! Visited an AD today to check the 47mm 372, it looks a bit funny on my wrist, maybe it's too big for my wrist. Tried 183 but im not that happy without a CG. Now im really lost...still considering 565 from V6f but haven't seen any review yet. Anyways, sharing the pics from AD...

I would go for the 372, the watch has been tried and true. very solid built watch! It does look slightly big on your wrist but Pams just wear big in general you have to get used to the size.
