I really love the PO, so I've ordered today a gen dial and hands set by cousinsuk.
And now I need the rest of the watch. I think best way would be to get an UPO by one of the dealers.
But which is the best? And which movement do I need for the gen hands? And what about the datewheel? I'd like to get it real close to the gen. So any help would be really appreciated.

I would start wit the UPO first.
Try MarvellousReplica or ReplicaMake and have them QC one for you.
It should have either an ETA or ETA clone movement. You need either of those to have the Gen dial/hands fit.

Good luck!

In my opinion, with all the costs add together, you can buy an used genuine PO. The biggest issue on the UPO other than the happy feet logo, is the crown tube. It tend to get wear out/ stripped easily.

No Probs - here are the answers:
Calibre Number is 2500
Case number black bezel: 168.1650
orange bezel: 168.1652
You can find dial and hands at case parts....

What fun would that be?

YES!!!
And a used Gen PO is about 1900€. A franken with lots of gen parts is about 500-600€. So there is a room of more than 1000€ for other watches!!!

Here it is.

The second tip is actually red, but in the picture, it didn't really show.

Another thing, gen PO uses Omega 2500C movement, which only has 25,200 BPH on the second hand, but the UPO has 28,800 BPH. So no matter how you change the look of the watch with gen dial, hands, bezel insert, crown and tube, the watch will still have the wrong beat.

I've compared my UPO and Gen SMP and it is hard to see the difference you speak of. Congrats on your Gen BTW!

Once you collect watches for few years, those small details becomes more magnified. I started my rep collection with a brand new UPO bought from Andrew.

Gen SMP uses ETA 2892 derived movement, so the BPH is the same with UPO, but gen PO has slower beat due to the design of the coaxle movement.
