Franken PAM 005 build possibilities

Hey all - recently picked up a PAM 005 rep with a genuine ETA 6497. Case should be water resistant to around 150-200m but the builder said he doesn't see why it wouldn't be closer to gen WR. I have been on the fence about trying to go down the franken route with this build by trying to find a gen 005 dial and hands, as well as crown/crown guard. Then maybe a gen crystal. How hard is it to find these parts? I love the hunt, but I don't want it to be months and months of looking to maybe find these parts or have no luck at all. I am contemplating keeping this rep vs flipping and getting a gen 005. But the cost differential is very large overall for rep vs gen. So thought if I could build it with most gen parts, it would perform like a gen and I could enjoy it as an everyday beater etc. Thoughts from you all who have been doing this longer are very welcome. I have been searching all over recently and have read that back in 2008 Panerai started cutting back supply parts etc and this was making anyone have a lot harder time obtaining any type of parts. So I am figuring it is very difficult if not almost impossible to franken this watch.

There are ways to create a near-perfect franken 005. But it will be close to the price of pam005 gen, and yes, the search (unless an angel comes down to you) will take months.

How much do the dials/hands, crystals and crown guards typically go for? I already have the full rep watch with ETA 6497. So figured its a starting point. But can't seem to see how much these items are. Dial and hands looks like it can be around $700-$800.

HF factory. They don't exist for several years.

Noob is gone too. Although you can still find old stock if you ask around hard enough.
Recently someone was selling a HF 005 in m2m. Sold in no time.

Now PAM005 is made only by the HWF.

Keep watching the sales section, I have sneaky suspicion that a hf dialled 005 will appear for sale tomorrow……..
