Good friend of mine have asked me if i could build him a watch starting from a Sonic Daytona Skeleton, said to him why not, let’s try, first when received the watch was quite surprise by the good overhaul looking watch, the one he bought was the Barrichelo one,
here’s pic of the movement dismantle, with some original parts going to be use for, lubrification of the movement was really good and a good surprise
Have read by there that skeleton job is amazing on this one, but compared to others i could have the chance to build, following picture, the openwork is quite poor, especially back of movement, don’t even talk about finishing job that is not existent, but don’t have to forget that is 1200 bucks watch, so regarding this fact is finally good, here’s a pic of an original one i did, just to compare there openwork job
Back parts of the movement are less open, or more badly, like chrono bridge, barrel bridge, making a difference even when looking front side of the watch, but like said previously is not the same price.
Will post later today’s following pics and final result of this built
