Hey guys,

I'm workin on a franken BCE project.

I want to install a Swiss 7750 and Gen dial into my V3 BCE (updated date wheel)

I have all the parts, BUT I'm finding some conflicting info on whether the hands from the A7750 28k bph will be a direct fit onto the Swiss 7750 unsure.gif

Anyone done this mod or have any info on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have done this mod on my Avenger Black Steel and I will get my Super Avenger back this week from a movement swap. Should not be a problem at all.

What are your concerns?

I'm mainly concerned about the hand stem size difference between the A7750(28.8k) and the Swiss 7750...
I've read that there is a diff in the seconds and subdial hands, or is this not a real problem?

BTW who are u having work on your watches if you don't mind me asking, I'm still looking for someone to do the work (PM if necessary)

The trickiest part to fit is chrono second hand counter. Apart from that, should not have big worry.

I kept the a7750 though, as it was working fine.

As Taka said, the only hand that needs attention is the large chrono seconds. You can enlarge the tube EVER SO SLIGHTLY by tapping down on it with a fine sewing needle.

Wow!!!

That's nice!... I can't wait till mine's done now.

BTW did you have the hands and pearl relumed to match the Gen dial, or is it close enough to leave as is in your opinion?

Thanks, the photos don't truly show it, but the gen dial is a lot smoother and crisper than the rep dial.

The hands are standard for now, and the lume is pretty crap.
I've got some Nitrolume ordered, so hopefully I'll have a decent set of lumed hands on it soon! :)

The seconds hand on the A7750 28k bph movment is slightly different in size. I believe the seconds hand needs to be broached to fit.
