It took me some time to gather all the parts to build this amazing watch. It sure was fun doing so.
Thanks to a lot of people for making this build happen. Your help and expertise is second to none.
Let me start by saying the case is a Viet case, and the movement is VR 3135 spring bars, and end links are aftermarket.
Everything else on this watch is GEN!
I built this watch the way I wanted it to be and thought a 1989 sub would age and look.
What I mean by that is, the dial and the hands do not have any lume. In my opinion, a 36-year-old watch may not have lume. Again, this is how I wanted it. The FLAT 4 Bezel insert has a few dings on it. Again, I purchased one that would be age appropriate. Plenty of pics to see any “flaws” I mentioned.
There was a lot of time and effort into building this.
I’m trying to sell it because I just purchased a Gen 2006 Sub 16610 (my sons birth year)
buyer please not write about reps or watches in the PayPal comment field or in any other place associated with the payment option
I will choose the buyer, and I will not sell before Green.
Watch is working great and keeping great time.
I would prefer to keep this in the CONUS. I am willing to send WW at buyers cost and risk.
I WILL PACKAGE IT UP EXTREMELY WELL AND SEND IT USPS PRIORITY (assuming it says in CONUS)
PIC HEAVY
