I have an old skool franken 001B built 6/7 years ago before the release of the PAM rep that change the game in 2011 the infamous 005k from H fac.
Specs as follow:
Gen dial (probably from a 111 e or f series)
ETA 6497-1 (exact same as one found in PAM 318)
Cartel case circa 2007 reshaped lugs and strap dimple
Sead A-F CG
Eddie Lee 001B CB
Matt/big crown crystal no AR as per gen
T crown
DSN Vac relumed hands
I'm looking at upgrading and hoping I can find a better case and CG, also wouldn't mind a crystal with AR
From my research best case available would be a H 247 (non hexagonal tube) and best CG from a KW 24c?
Also considering turning it into a 004/001 dlc/pvd.
Any idea what would be my best options with the current offerings? Are DSN part worth considering these days (they use to have massive inacuracies)
