Found something interesting on Taobao

So I was on the hunt for my first Panerai, somehow wanted to see what are the parts like in Taobao.

Ended up stumble upon this store. With further investigation, they have something to offer under the table.

They have two version for sell, so to speak.

Take this Panerai for example. The one in the listing is perfectly fine, just an homage with their own logo.

But if you approach them and give a few hints about replicas. They'll hand out this.

Since I don't know much about Panerais in the first place, not to mention this particular model.

So does it count as low tier rep, or passable rep. I'm quite interested in that Tuxedo tbh.

In the video that you showed, it seems that the dial is PAM380, but with a sandwich like 183, and a caseback from PAM2020 (which I have never seen passable reps on at all), and all this, as it seems, is in its fast price case.
No, this is not a rep, in the literal sense, because as it does not repeat the design of the existing model, this is a craft from all the parts they could find, which is good, however, as long as you like it. But I would not count on the high quality of the parts.

Fully noted, it does match what you describe in later on conversation with them.

They just ask factories to make those part for them. And they just compile them together as they like.

Only in comparison I can know that the nuance is merely the logo. Experienced eyes of yours, good one.

Also, a bit off topic one. HW now seems like a good factory to purchase Panerais.

Pretty smart for them to emphasize on the hand-wind market.

Simple design, pretty unlikely to mess up the replication.

Especially that 177 you posted the other day, that they release lately.

If it has a destro version, that's even better.
