Found a great strap on Ebay

Just wanted to share my latest purchase with you fellas. I've been looking for a new strap for my Noob 372 ( or any future 26mm PAM ), because the rep strap is horrible ( glossy and stiff ). I couldn't invest in a gen or a high end aftermarket strap, so I decided to go for a cheaper version. At first I wanted to buy a BOB or a Meyhofer, but accidentally stumbled upon this seller on Ebay:

He has some lovely handmade straps for a very reasonable price and I decided to give it a try. It arrived in 6 days!!! from Thailand to the EU, very well packed. I was very pleasantly surprised after opening the package, the strap looks great, it's soft and pliable and doesn't smell like a corpses ass like some of the rep ones. I've had a custom strap made recently, which was double this price and it wasn't half this good, waaaay to stiff. I think I'll go for another one for my 243, I like it a lot! And once I come into black on my account - it's Gunny Caitlin time

Here are some pics, I just put it on top of the rep strap, because I'm not sure if I'll keep my brand new, never even tried on 372 ( lusting after the 449, that's why )

Thanks bro! You can't get this one, because they're handmade and more or less unique, he only has one of each in stock. I also wanted another one that was sold while I was making up my mind and the seller replied that it can't be done. Go figure..But read the description at the bottom, the straps have different thicknesses and some of them are described as soft and some very soft. I went for very soft and love it Hope you find a good one:thumbup: Even though the stock is not as rich as usual at the moment.

I looked at their offerings. If they provide what they show in the pics, this seems to be a great deal! I have no clue how they are making any money (other than sheer volume). They seem to be handmade and decent attention to detail. They don't skive out around the lug area, but some people don't mind that. That really seems to be my only complaint. Great find.

These come from Thailand. Probably made from an animal other than a cow. Think about it. Ill pass. Cool designs though.

This is a great find. Anthiqueleatherstraps is Pantast and Wristart24.com with excellent reviews on WUS and Panerairesource.
The leather used often comes from old belts and McMarten shoes, so it´s soft and has the right looks, makes sense somehow.
Great pricing although You will have to add the buckle and tubes.

I have a rep Pam Asso strap I can borrow the buckle and tubes from.

The soft, red leather should bring it up a notch!
