I have had many Panerai reps over the last couple of years, in the end I sold all of them to help fund a gen Rolex SD 4000.

However, I still had the desire to own a Pam, but which one?

It was pretty simple, it had to be big, it had to be a submersible and it had to be bronze.

This is the latest KW version...

It looks fantastic on all of them. Enjoy and wear it well:)
On a side note: how does the rep-Bronzo compare with the gen-Seadweller? It sure would be interesting to hear some thoughts....

I love my Bronzo. It's sitting outside right now.
Yes, a comparison between the $450 rep and high 4 maybe 5 figure gen rolex would be interesting.

A comparison is not easy as it is all a bit subjective..

The gen SD4000 just feels different in the hand and on the wrist.
All the edges are smooth, the bracelet is sold but very tactile.
There is no play between the links
The clasp is a work of art, solid and a crisp close with no gaps anywhere.
The SEL fit is just perfect

I think this is the reason it wears more comfortably than a rep. The closest I have ever experienced to the gen bracelet was on the latest NOOB DSSD.

The crystal and dial are, as you would expect perfect. Clear, distortion free and crisp letting on the dial. Hour markers are all consistent in apperance. Even the latest TC LN and LV dont come close to a gen

All the parts work perfectly together making it a real pleasure to wear

Like I said, it is really hard to put in-to words.
