Coincidentally, I just got a 111 in the mail from TWP. I was about to replace the strap with a brand new bracelet I had waiting for it. Are there any tricks to installing it???

Seriously, how do you get one of these bracelets installed? The pin/screw slides easily through the endlink, and slides easily through the watch lug. When I line up the endlink against the case, it appears to be a perfect fit.

However, I can only slide the pin/screw through the endlink. The threaded portion on the end of the pin enters then endlink, then it stops. I can’t slide it all the way through the endlink.

There HAS TO BE a trick to this. Please help…

I have the DSN ultimate, and you have to pry the tabs on the strap a little bit out and it should line up nice. Good luck

This one isn't a DSN. It'a an Asian model from TWP. I've been at it nearly an hour. Pin fits through lug no problem. Pin fits through endlink no problem. Pin will NOT go through both pin and endlink. This makes no sense.

I've honestly never heard this issue before. Some bracelets have short tubes in them. Just a thought but you may have theses and one might be outta whack.... Good luck with this.

SUCCESS! I finally got the bracelet installed!

SPECIAL THANKS go out to chels who had the right idea. Although mine is not a Davisen, bending back those little tabs on the bracelet just the slightest bit did the trick!

I don't have a great deal of patience. When I finally calmed down a bit, I took a closer look at those tabs. All four tabs were bend slightly inward toward the inside of the bracelet. That's when I had my Eureka moment and realized that what works for a Davidsen may well work for any version.

I think I've earned myself a beer (well, maybe a light beer...)

Thanks again chels!

Oh my God, thank you guys. I have just ordered a metal bracelet for the PAM 111/112 from Davidsen, and he warned me it wasn't easy. Haven't received it yet, but now I feel like I'm able to tackle the task. Thanks again!

That's why I always vent my frustrations here - I figure someone else may learn from it. Bending those tabs is super-simple. Any small pair of pliers is all you need.

I only have a Ti PAM. I want a metal bracelet so badly, but I doubt one would look very good. :(
