Fix it or send it back?

I just got this watch from a very good dealer. It was a long wait, but much my choice. This is what I am up against...

Do I send this back or keep and get fixed on my own? The sapphire sticks out quite a bit and is crooked. I think the picture tells the story.

Is this an easy fix? Is it worth fixing? The rest of the watch is great - I just would like a little feedback on the crystal. I think you can see the right side of the picture is elevated a bit more than the left. None of the other PAMs I have ever seen have a crystal like this.

I couldn't find the thread but there have been situations where the crystal has exploded during flight or otherwise shattered when hit accidentally....

I hate to be a pain in the ass. Other than that the 111 is perfect (to me).

...but this is one of those things that may be easier to fix in real-time and not worry over mailing &tc.

I might just look around here to see what can be done. There also looks like a little ding or nick right at the spot the crystal is most raised - inside. Not sure what it is. I'll see if I can get a picture of it.

Send it back and ask for a replacement up front so they can cross paths in the mail.
