My pearl sticks up over the bezel inset a little, it seems like (in my head anyway) that you could pop off the bezel, the insert, and pull of the pearl. then file some off the back of the pearl and install it back on without it sticking up as much. this seems correct in theory, but has anyone done this?

Micky, I like the way you think. Yes your therory is correct, it is sticking up a bit but it is only noticable to us geeks. :wink: If I were you and it bothers you so much, I would make your own pearl or find any used SMP bezel on the bay and sacrafice the pearl.
