Fitted Gen Bezel to UPO

Hi,

Quick update my Gen bezel arrived today I got to work and clipped the raised part of insert with clippers as per pic then filed it down with a crystal file.

To set the bezel I used Araldite hardener. Let me know what you think the bezel was used and got it for 80 quid so thought I would test it out first, and if it worked well I would buy a new one.

Sorry about the pics I lent my macro lens to my brow so found it difficult. Hope this helps anyone wanting to do the same.

Last not just got my Gen Bracelet end today so will be fitting them tomorrow.

But you may want to resize them first. Those are pretty huge.

Just to add yes it sits flush after sanding down.

So you needed to sand it down. A lot?

The first step was to push out the gen bezel this is very easy.

Next then I used clippers to cut down the raised fitting on the back.

After this I then filed it down the bezel insert is metal but easy enough to file down until level. It took about half an hour.

After this I removed the rep insert with a knife which didn't take much doing and replaces it with the gen.
