First Watch with Steve - Rolex Explorer 1

I read many good reviews here about Steve and read a few of his comparison articles so I wanted to give it a try. First contact with Steve via WA was responsive and he provided adequate information. I was originally looking at a Hublot and AP, but by the end of the conversation I decided on a Clean Rolex Explorer 1 and a LV belt. Steve said there was limited stock for the Explorer 1 and would get me qc in around 2 days. So far here is my timeline of events...

Jan 27: Order confirmed and deposit paid for Explorer 1 and LV belt
Jan 31: QC pics received and no issues seen. Requested additional pics of crystal side view, bezel, middle axis.
Feb 1: Additional pics received and no issues. Signed off on QC.
Feb 1: Balance and shipping paid for Explorer 1. (LV belt not ready to ship, deposit for it held until then - fair decision for both)

Waiting for shipping confirmation and tracking information.

Overall I am very pleased with the interaction with Steve. I look forward to receiving the Clean Explorer 1 and hopefully more orders in the future as well.

Feb 14: tracking number received even though Steve is on holiday/vacation (was shipped on Feb 5th)

Looked up the number and the package is in the US. Looking forward to receiving it!

Feb 21: The package has arrived! As some of you have said, watching the tracking history is more like a journey than a delivery. The wait time was not bad - total of 16 days since it was shipped and well worth the wait.

For those of you that ordered before or around Chinese New Year I would simply be patient with all that is going on. Chinese New Year is a 2 week celebration where people take true "time off" from work. Family and relatives travel all the way home to celebrate and no work takes place on purpose. So it's not that people have disappeared, there is a reason why communication has gone quiet or deliveries are delayed - it's temporary.

There is a reason TOW is a trusted rep dealer and I can truly say that I had great service and a very good experience on this 1st order. I will be ordering again for sure.

The links were easy to adjust but it was not easy to get a good picture of the watch that showed how great it looks. The picture never seemed to look like what I saw in person. To me, this is NWBIG enough. I went to see a gen and the only real difference is the weight.
