I read that puretime is a reputable dealer. Now I want to buy my first watch.

From what I gather reading posts on this site is, it really depends on what YOUR opinion on "very best" is. I believe QF and CLEAN are two of the more popular models for the Daytona. Also PureTime is an EXCELLENT TD, good choice going with them! Supposedly on holiday leave for a week so personally i would wait until you order the watch you want, also reach out to them first to see if they can source the watch you want from the factory before you order and pay!
