First watch order with Andiot IWC Portugieser: Status tracking

Just posting here to keep a record of my order timeline and get a sense check from others, keen to hear if you think I’m being too impatient and should ease up on expectations. I’m not chasing immediate action, just trying to make sure things are actually progressing.

Timeline so far:

• 17/06/25 – Reached out to ask if they could source the ZF version of the watch. Got confirmation they could, and Andiot sent through price + shipping.

• 18/06/25 – Payment instructions sent via their official site, with payment details also confirmed via WhatsApp.

• 19/06/25 – Payment completed and manual order form submitted. Andiot confirmed payment and issued an order number. I was advised QC should be expected sometime the following week.

• 22/06/25 – Sent a quick follow-up to check on status. Response was “still waiting for it to come.” I realise this may have been a bit soon, but I mainly wanted to confirm there were no issues on my end.

• 26/06/25 – Another check-in. Response was “no ZF still waiting for.” This has me unsure whether the watch was actually ordered from the factory, or if they’re still trying to secure one. I was under the impression an AD would check availability before confirming it was possible to order and taking payment.

Not trying to rush them, just making sure the ball is rolling. Curious to hear from others - does this timeline seem pretty normal, or should I expect a bit more clarity at this stage?

This is a completely normal timeline. You just need to relax a bit.
The QC pictures will come when they come, stressing about it won’t help
