Nov 21 - Told him my sender name and payment is confirmed. Sent order info via whatsapp and email
Nov 22 - Hont says wait for QC, 3-6 days

I thought there would be 24hr QC, but I think I just missed out on his stock. Also its thanksgiving in a few days, totally understandable.
Paid $718. He has the best prices but is slow to respond because he is busy. If you call him, he will reply pretty quickly when its daylight hours in China.

Fingers crossed for an easy GL. With chronograph movements, reliability is always a concern. Often I see on this forum and reddit that these movements are not assembled/oiled with care. Should I service it right away when I receive it?

Waiting on the same watch from Hont as well. Still waiting on QC but I think a combination of lockdowns in China + holiday rush is slowing things down.

Nov 25 - Got QC, GL'ed and hont gave a tracking number (not shipped yet according to tracking). Hont says an "unboxing video with good review" would get me a free montblanc pen in the next order.

in the same boat. Watch cleared customs quick but USPS status is same as yours for more than a week now

Nice, did your tracking mention which shipping partner handled the package before usps?

Be happy that your watches passed the custom. This normally is the only critical point during
Delivery. The Rest of time delay should be caused by the christmas traffic.

I was finally able to take the watch out of the package, and everything looks great! There is also a monte blanc pen inside for some reason, it feels cheap but is free. Overall great experience with hont.
