Getting To Know The Place

Purchased a PAM 1225 from Trusty and while I understand this was not a high quality rep, the sale went horribly wrong. Let me start with the watch itself, its a beautiful watch but the case back has conflicting information on it as well as a misspelled word. To be fair it is photographed this way so I cant complain. Where the problems came up is when I received the watch. It took almost two months for me to receive it. I was told it had shipped but never got tracking. Then after I asked Andrew about it he said he would check. After he did not get back to me a for a few days i asked again. I then got a new set of QC images which I did not ask for since the first set was approved. Finally i got tracking.
Upon arrival the small second hand was not moving but the watch did keep time otherwise. When I went back to the QC images i noticed that the small second hand always appeared at the same spot in each photo so i can confirm this watch never functioned correctly while still in China.
I asked Andrew about it and got the standard answer of it being fine when sent and to try a couple of things to possible fix it. When nothing worked i decided to open the watch to see if there weas anything I could do. That is when I noticed that the movement was not as it was advertised to be. When I bought the watch it was to have a P900 automatic movement 28800bph modified to Calibre look. What was actually inside was a Seagull ST2555 non decorated and definitely not as was advertised. I confronted him again about this and he said that the pictures of the movement were not on the website and this was a low end rep. He then quickly changed his website to reflect the proper movement. Andrew does respond to emails and did want me to send this back to China for repair but it was not worth it. The fact that he would not take responsibility of a misrepresented movement tells me he is not honest.
I did end up removing the movement from the case and placing the small second hand properly back on the watch and it works fine now but with a cheap movement.
My opinion on this is that his honesty is not to be trusted and I would think that is something like this happens he should stand behind his product with some sort of compensation. I dont expect a full refund but I did have to fix this myself and also did not get what I thought i paid for. It seems the communication is OK with Andrew until there is a problem, and then the questions will not be answered.
