Here's a bit of a story in and around why I highly recommend JTime, if you are thinking of using them.
I'm a noob to the game, so was not too sure on who to ask for some ALS pieces that may or may not be available
So, I sent out an email to x6 TD's, asking them all for availability on x2 ALS pieces, which looked like they were released a long time ago now.
A bit of a long shot, I was thinking
All within 24 hours, x4 replied. The other x2 didn't bother replying at all. That's fine, I wont bother doing business with them either.
Responder #1 - 'Not available anymore, Sorry'
Responder #2 - 'I checked with market dealers but these models are stopped producing for a long time'
Responder #3 - 'Let me check for you' (Never replied back). That's fine. Maybe they forgot. With plenty of reliable TD's around, I forget who responder #3 is now too.
Responder #4 (JTime) - 'These x2 models are available, here is the pricing'
Great, we have a winner. JTime it is.
So here's a timeline of events detailing my experience with JTime
6 Sept - Email went out to the x6 TD's
6 Sept - JTime responds positively
7 Sept - I confirm that I will place an order for x1 of them and ask for more details about the pieces.
9 Sept - JTime responds with all the detail on both pieces
10 Sept - Payment details sent through, payment made and payment confirmation received (all within 2 hours)
17 Sept - QC received. I notice the leather retainer ring is missing from the band and ask them to include.
20 Sept - JTime responds, apologizing for the delay and advises that they will rectify.
25 Sept - JTime emails advising they are still waiting for the retainer ring
1 Oct - I decided to grab the other piece as well, notify JTime, receive payment details, make payment, receive payment confirmation (all within 4 hours)
9 Oct - I ask if I can change my order to a tourbillon version of one of them. I get a reply a few hours later confirming one is available and advised of additional cost. NO FUSS for my messing them around.
10 Oct - Additional payment made, payment confirmation received. (within 3 hours)
14 Oct - QC received for second piece. Green light. I'm informed that the retainer ring still has not arrived.
24 Oct - I ask them to send the x2 pieces, without the retainer ring (easy and cheap enough to source one myself locally anyway). Same day reply from JTime confirming OK
28 Oct - Tracking information received
7 Nov - VERY well packaged pieces received in Australia
Take out the time from JTime waiting for the missing retainer ring and my indecisiveness / changing the order and its basically 3.5 weeks from start to finish, sourcing pieces that others seemingly didn't bother with.
