First time ordering from Sead

My first order was a Tudor pelagos 39 but after three weeks without any updates on the watch (wasn’t his fault since he told me it will take time) I settled to get a watch to gift to my father from the EU list (VSF milgauss blue dial). QC photos provided and proceeded to the payment again. Now I’m waiting but no tracking number provided yet. I know I was a bit annoying because sending €500 on someone you heard rumors about is a bit scary but at the end we’ll see.

Sead is a Trusted Dealer here, emphasis on “trusted.” That means he’s got a whole parade of successful reviews, including a few from yours truly. So do yourself a favour: take a deep breath, keep your pants on, and calm down. Nobody’s risking their six-figure turnover per annum to scam you out of your precious 500.

The leap of faith on your first purchase is always difficult, on my first purchase from Sead I like you got sick of waiting for what I'd ordered and chose something else he had in stock and it arrived safely a couple of weeks later. I know it's difficult for you to have to wait but this isn't Amazon. It will be OK.

Yeah, I grew up when some ebay sellers didn’t gave you tracking info and i had to wait 2 months or more for things to arrive….
I am not sick about waiting but i at least want some basic information.
Having said that can you tell what is the approximate time (in your experience) of a watch coming from china??

If you ordered from the eu stock it takes about 5 days for delivery within the eu.
From China about 3.4 weeks. I once had it delivered from China after just 8 calendar days, but that was a great luck.
Sead usually doesn't send the tracking number unless you explicitly ask for it. You have no reason to worry, I bought many watches (both from eu stock, uk stock, and China) and I confirm that Sead is absolutely reliable and solid.

What you’ve written isn’t “experience”; it’s just paranoid skepticism that does nothing but mislead other newcomers. More importantly, this kind of skepticism wouldn’t exist if you’d taken a moment to read the welcome posts that our mods provided after your first few posts. One of those sticky posts stated that if something does go wrong and you were a member before making your purchase from one of our TDs, the mods here will help you resolve it.

In short, your so-called “experience” is nothing more than a delusion, not what actually happened. No one gets screwed over by a TD like Sead who does the business for over a decade.

Wow… just wow!!! Just like Villa I recently placed my first order, and also with Sead due to all the positive comments from members. But just like Villa, I too had a little skepticism because at the end of the day it is still a risky proposition. You may know this dealer, but we don’t. There is no need to attack this guy because he came to this community for a little reassurance. I’m sure I will receive Max’s take on my opinion as soon as I hit the reply button too. Thanks to everyone else who chimed in for support as newbies are getting their feet wet for the first time.

I feel that the word "scam" should not be mentioned in Sead's section, nor any other TD here on RWI.
If you have used the correct channels of communication with the TD you have no reason to be worried, you just need to be patient. Sead in particular only communicates if he has something (new) to tell you. I don't think he has time to waste writing to you every 2 days that things are moving

That is a great answer covering my thoughts… as i wrote earlier I paid him twice, once for a tudor and now the difference for a different watch….(that means I understand 100% what is a trusted dealer and also he offered a refund if I wanted)
No hate to the guy… and also 95% of the questions i had are answered here, pso i will share photos of the watch at the end with the people here.
