So Im new to the forums here and this is my first post.
I have made a purchase with andrew at Trusty and so far the interaction has been great.
Made the purchase 3 days ago and I intend to chart the progress here, for others to observe.

Nice to meet you all.

So as of today i have received all my qc photos and chatted with Andrew several times. I gave the go ahead for both items yesterday.
Honestly the interaction with him is great. I have done a lot of work with Chinese business over the years and this is what ranks as quality service in China.
Especially when you consider that this is a small purchases not a large corporate contract. I guess I'm waiting now for the tracking numbers to show it has been sent.
Great stuff.

So yesterday I received my tracking information which obviously indicated the product is on its way. The tracking service shows roughly two weeks of shipping time. Very good service in my opinion.
I have received sample packages from china for other projects unrelated to this that took much longer and were far more expensive. Also Covid has really sent everything for a loop.

Today, I received my package from Trusty Time. So that makes it 23 days from credit card transaction, to at my door.
Thats excellent to me. Watches are exactly as shown in the QC photos, they work, and were extremely well packed.

Nice post buddy, thank you for this, haven't made my first purchase just yet as I'm waiting for my new MasterCard to arrive!

I have been flicking between Puretime and Trusty's websites but will most likely order from them both in the future regardless.

Thanks Ben.
To tell the truth, I lurked on rep web sites for 10 years … spent a lot of time over the years looking at noob factory stuff... I just never found myself ready to buy but more importantly no way to determine who I could trust. It was this forum and their advocation of andrew that finally had me drop a dollar.
Now just so you know I decided to buy two of his least expensive products. I decided they were "good enough" for me. There are slight variations that keep them from being perfect but they are so close no one notices. In fact i was in jewelry story trying on a Zenith Defy Extreme and the store owner asked if I got my watch (omega speedmaster race) from them... it passed the test in my mind.

When andrew sent me the QC photos, i noticed my Pan had a glass back (it didnt in the Gen version nor the one I selected from Andrews catalogue). To me it was a nice add.

I picked watches that a "guy like me" looks like he would own if he saved up. While I love the Paul Newman's it would not be the attention I want for daily ware.

Ask any questions you like and I will try to give answers on my experience.

Hi, just a quick question. How soon after you approved the QC pics did you receive your tracking? I am still waiting on my tracking and it is day 4 after I was told watch has shipped after I gave green light. I was basically told that I will get my tracking when Andrew gets it from the "shipper". I am also making a thread here.

All my orders took 4 - 7 days before tracking was sent to me. It's a little diffrent in China. A "Forwarder" collects the package and then store it in like a garage and when it's full then is sent and a tracking ID is created.

Until it's sent there is a chance that the cops during the raids may seize the package. But hang tight, you will probably get the ID any time now.

I also had a good, relatively quick first-time buying experience with Trusty — despite the raids, pandemic, etc. Recommended.

So in my case I bought two watches and got QC photos for one of them first, then the second one a few days later. I think the tracking number came about a week after the second QCP.

In my view, Andrew is a small business guy who probably sifts through the market for decent watches and then makes a trip to the shipper once a week, for a bunch of orders. I decided to not stress myself by counting the response times on everything. In all honesty, this was little different than ordering from Etsy or wish.....mmmm ..well ...better than those two.

Interestingly I have not had to pay duty nor did I get notice of outstanding. Glitch at the post office? the tracking showed it went to customs for clearance. Odd.

I to wonder a bit about how he gets the watches. Both of my orders were delayed because of the raids and as soon as I wanted to cancel my orders he sends me the QC pics a couple of hours later.. So to me that feels like he went to the factory himself and got the watch that way. It doesnt matter to me because it shows that Andrew really have the tools to solve the problems if its really necessary.

Thanks, I appreciate the detailed response. I got my tracking a day after I posted btw. Took about 10 days after the QC for me.

No problem :)

You are a more cautious person than me!

I have made my first purchase as of yesterday, link is below:

https://trustytime.io/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_83&products_id=22159

I have wanted one of these since the trailer for the film came out, got an okay from Andrew that same day and I will recieve my QC pics in 4-12 days which is fine with me.

Nice to hear that an experienced watch seller was fooled :)

I am similar to you in the sense that the watches I pick over time are ones that are affordable for a working class gentlemen like me if I have saved up as you've said.
