7. Received my QC pics (and 24 hour notice) - Overall I'm satisfied

- Dial print looks good
- Everything looks centered from what I can tell
- Beat rate acceptable
- Amplitude and beat error great.

I would like to ask the community for help on one specific thing though. Is the SEL gap too big here?
And are those dents in the casing?

8. Emailed Andrew about the dents - Told me he would check and get back to me.

I'm really trying not to be overly critical, but those 'dents' really bother me. I understand that reps can't be like gens, and that these watches aren't 100% aligned in the markers etc. But I honestly have a hard time accepting a watch costing 500+ USD, with what appears to be dents in it.

If it is dents, then it's obviously not Andrews fault. The fault lies with the factory, and the factory needs to rectify it.

Looks like it's the light reflecting on the surface not dents..

Dents ? It's light reflecting on the polished surface.

SEL gaps are not 'too big'.

Thank you both for your input - This is the picture I sent to Andrew. And he said he would check and email me back.

That does look weird though, would you not agree?. It bends the light being reflected as if it was dented.

I don't know what camera or filter Andrew uses for his pictures but my watch looked weird to, the backside was so dark that I thought it was Grey paint. So it's quite impossible to know for sure if you don't look at more pics or see it in real life.

Those are not dents. What you are seeing is reflections of the inside of the light box tent opening. Andrew like others use a pop-up light box tent for photos. There’s nothing wrong with the case back of the watch.

Thank you! to all of you for your input. And apologies to Andrew.

Not that I blamed him for anything, but now knowing how stressful it is to be a newbie trying to figure out the first QC pics, I kind of understand how stressful it must be to be a dealer of these things, and sell to newbies like me.

9. I have GL'd the watch + Confirmed the shipping address - Now awaiting arrival of the watch (with UK transshipping)

Remember if after you receive the watch if there are issues, it's best to let Andrew know but send it out to a RWI modder and not ship it back to China. Many TD's work with buyer for possible future discounts or partial payment for repairs. Just my 2 centavos

Hey

Thank you for the advice. I've read a few (actually quite a few by now) threads where people have sent it back to China, and that's when the trouble really start, having to waits months or the watch disappearing etc. But I will take what you said to heart, and figure out some other way to fix any issues.

I do know someone who is very much into buying / repairing and selling watches. Not a close friend, but close enough that I could ask him for help I guess, for a reasonable fee. But if that doesn't work out, I'll have a look for an RWI modder near my country.

11. Slight problem with the package:

I can see the destination of the package is Denmark. But I paid an extra 33 dollars in Bitcoin to have UK transshipping, just to be safe.

This is not really a problem if the package gets through, but customs are difficult here - We shall see.
Also, if the TD send replacements for the watches that gets seized in customs, then I have no problems with him choosing to ship it directly.

Normal EU shipping should be safer than UK transit now when UK is out of EU.
