First time order - IWC Mark XX V7F - EU shippment

Dear all,
just wanted to give you a little insight in my journey with Li.

Maybe as this is from interest for some of you: Shipping will be done to central europe (AT).

31.12.2023: (actually about another watch): initial contact made via mail. super fast and friendly response from Li with some hints regarding their stock availabilities
01.01.2024: submitted my order for the mark XX via email. Even though new year, Li respondes again within some hours and provided me payment options (I've chosen revolut, paypal or CC was not offered at this time by him, revolut gave me some additional discount) and info regarding the further process. He wanted me to expect 5-10 business days until i will receive QC pircutes.


Now waiting for the QC picutes.

will post an update here. so far no additioan shipping details showing up - still waiting for the dhl tracking number to get active when the parcel reaches europe...

22.01.2024: tracking number from dhl is now active. parcel already reached central europe.

23.01.2024 - watch arrived today. faster then expected. everything fine with the mark xx - i'm really super happy with my first rep buy.

yeah - honestly speaking - it's better than i've expected it. movement is super silent, watch and crystal looks awesome and even the bracelet is much better than i've expected it to be. although i'm not a real fan of bracelets in generall i most likely will wear it on a strap but ...

haha . i know... i wanted to see how the bracelet looks and feels, and - it's easy and cheap to swap from bracelet to a strap, but the other way around not so ... and luckily on reps the price difference between bracelet and strap version is not like on the gen one... so no real reason to go for the strap rep version for me.

Great watch, good taste. How did it pass customs, any extra taxes like VAT in EU? Havent order anything after EU revoked import VAT relief for low-value goods

as often stated here it might be better to know not all the details how they handle it.
but for me nothing came on top and i finally had a package coming from an eu country in my hand...
