First time order for rep with Puretime!

Hello everyone, I was going back and forth bettween TD's and finally settled on Puretime to go ahead and make payment to proceed. The staff were a lot more knowledgeable and they were able to respond a little quicker to answer exactly what I needed to make the choice!

I ended up going with the Datejust 41 Wimbledon VSF model. I think the movement was very important to me, and I pray the latest batch will have corrected the thinner 9 oclock tick mark thickness. I hear that the CF version has a more accurate thickness on this. I don't see that as a deal breaker. Honestly I just want to the dial color to be as accurate (that's my main concern). I can't wait to see the QC images when they come in. Current wait time is about 2-3 weeks at this point. Thanks Marie and Alice for your hard work and prompt response times! Can't wait to follow up here and document the process.

Added question: how important is it to everyone to actually purchase the box/papers as well? I know when unboxing it will definitely feel more GEN, but is it worth it to anyone? I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

9/8/23 at 0500: QC photos received! I know forum rules state that I shouldn't be posting them here for review as they are for personal purposes only so I will respect the wishes of the mods.

However I do have some questions on what I should be keeping an eye out for to make sure a QC should be GL'd. Some things I've looked at and I think are good:

1. The tick mark at 9-oclock used to be thinner than CLEAN and GEN, however I think this might have been corrected because the difference isn't there or noticeable anymore
2. 13sec/day seems to be within tolerance from what I've researched.
3. I definitely want to ask them to send me a photo of the lume in the dark.
4. I'm not sure if they have made corrections to the lug size on the case with VSF (honestly I can barely notice it and most likely won't notice it unless I'm comparing it to a GEN side by side)
5. Rehaut letters are lined up perfectly.

Let me know if there are any other things that I should look out for. I have sent a photo to Emilie on the QC team and hopefully will hear a response soon. Thanks @puretime !!!

9/9 @0430 follow up photos of internals and movement as well as lume. Asked for one follow up video of how the date flips when approaching midnight (should be instant). Then it will be a green light for me! Wonderful service from Marie and Elena! Thanks @puretime !!’

On an added note. The fluted bezel is shiny as hell despite being silver vs white gold! The lume tick at 9 o’clock seems to be fixed and is much thicker than before.
