Hi there. Any idea on how long it takes to ship the APSF? I’ve been eyeing one as well and Andiot prices are great.

Avoid DHL and FedEx. The seizure rate is higher. The slow postal services are a safer choice. For me the slow US Post Office takes about 3 weeks. Receiving a seizure letter makes for a bad day.
If you receive a seizure letter what happens? Do you basically lose the watch?

27 May 2025 - Rolex Daytona 126500 GL - Both watches are now GL
29 May 2025 - Tracking number for the Royal Oak Chrono 26240 received
29 May 2025 - Tracking number for the Rolex Daytona 126500 received
3 June 2025 - Royal Oak Chrono 26240 received -> *See note below

*The rotor on the AP is seized up when received. I've spoken to Elliot who asked me to try to shake it loose, unfortunately that did not work. Elliot said I can take it to a local watch repaire to get it fixed and he will cover the cost of repairs. I will take it to an watch repaire store tomorrow and see what they say. Will updated post.

You will need to find a watchsmith that will work on Reps. It is not easy. Look on RWI. I have my TD send my watch to their watchsmith before shipping. I don’t mind paying the extra fee.

Thanks for the advice :).

I took it to my local whatsmith, and he found that there was a screw loose in the mechanisim that jammed the rotor, which most likely came loose during shipping. He managed to fix it for $30.

Andiot offered to cover the cost, I took the store credit instead.

The watchsmith also used to work for AP in Switzerland, he couldnt beleive how 1:1 the rep was. Mad props to Andiot and the factories!

Well, props to you. Solving your own issues, finding your watchmaker, is critical to being in the rep game long term. Positive attitude and willingness to take action always wins in the rep game. Enjoy the reps!
