First time order AUS

this is my 1st order. After i saw someone got a Seamaster 300m ZF, what a beauty. I pulled the trigger and place an order.
I need some advices from our regulars. is it normally take this long for delivery to Aus?

27/7/23- Placed an order
27/7/23- Paid via wise
29/7/23 -Confirmed payment received
3/8/23 - QC pictures arrived, the watch needs a little bit adjustment.
8/8/23 -2nd QC arrived, approved GL for the watch.
10/8/23- Tracking info received.
then ever since my delivery is stuck at the depot? is it held by the customs and didnt pass?

Hey brotha, wondering what were your tracking updates following up until delivery, from Aus as well.

I exclusively order my watches from Jtime, Delivery cost may be a bit higher than others but the service is great, I've not once had to turn down a watch because of QC images are well lit and concise. I usually find that the bottle neck is with Customs/Auspost, So unbelievably slow, Once the item hits Australia even tracking info is 24/48 hours delayed.

Yeah getting to Aus is alright, but just AusPost is terrible, package is delayed as well for no reason.

Has anyone got their rep seized by customs? If it is seized, what happens next ?

I've never had a rep seized, We are pretty lucky here I don't think it's such a big thing like it is in the USA or Europe. So long as you aren't bringing in suit cases full customs doesn't care about your one off knock off. I think most TD will either send you another watch for free or at a heavily reduce price in the unlikely even that a seizure occurs. Which Panerai has caught your eye?

Shipping tracking to Australia can be interesting

I had a watch shipped from UK which arrived Wednesday but tracking shows it sitting in Ireland

And the postman handed it to me which is signed for…but Aus post has no record of it

Shipping in Australia in general is terrible. I ordered a motorbike helmet from QLD to Vic. Tracking for 3 weeks said it was still in QLD even as I was signing it

Damn that's worrying, I got watches inbound to Perth too. Never not once had an issue once it hits Australia. Who was the TD if I may ask?
