This is my first time ordering directly from Li, and I must say, the experience was smooth as butter. For the most part, I've always purchased M2M, with the exception being when TC was still around. A few pieces caught my eye recently (Clean factory no doubt... they are doing some crazy things in the rep game in 2022!!). Anyhow, it seems as though the M2M activity has picked up over the past year or so. Instead of waiting around for the pieces I wanted to pop up, and then wait in the queue, I decided to pull the trigger with Li directly.
He was very responsive throughout our email communications, and was very accommodating as well. In the old days, I remember having to go to the bank and set up a bank transfer - an arduous and inconvenient process to say the least. Although not a regular practice as I understand it, Li was gracious enough to accept payment from me via paypal instead, as he was able to confirm my longstanding membership with RWI.
After payment was made, I was promptly informed that I would be hearing word form "Lana" - Li's head of QC, within 5-7 business days. To my surprise, QC came just two days later. I green-lit the piece 36 hrs. after receiving the images (timeframe included me having reached out for additional "custom" QC images - Lana did not hesitate to accommodate my requests).
Package was received 17 days after shipping - Shipped very nicely as a matter of fact. I was forewarned that logistics companies may be "unkind" to the packages due to Jtime declaring low value goods (as we're all used to). The package came in undamaged and packed well.
