Jan. 11, 2022: I approach Li about ordering this difficult-to-get rep
Jan. 12: Li tells me he can source it with a 2-month QC wait time
Jan. 13: Li lets me know the pricing, and I add an AP Box & Papers Set to my order with him
Jan. 14: I send payment with Wise, and Li, as the playful guy he is, lets me know he actually has the watch I want in his on-hand stock. What a lad.
Jan. 16: Recieve watch QC pics, everything looks great, GL
Jan. 21: Recieve Tracking info for watch - package is on its way to me
Jan. 22: Recieve tracking info for Box Set - package is on its way to me

Li's been crazy responsive and very patient with all my first-time buyer questions. 10/10 experience insofar, updates will be incoming with anything new that happens!

Update!

Feb. 8, 2022: Watch arrived via USPS, undamaged and in working function. Nice!
Feb. 9, 2022: I just got the notification that the AP Box & Papers arrived via USPS, I haven't had time to grab the package and see how its contents fared just yet, though!

I'll be posting pics of everything over on the APSF AP RO PC Thread once I get this watch sized and the box in my possession.

Just out of curiosity - all the functions work on the watch?

All the functions work except the week-of-the-year hand and the leap year hand. Both of those appear to be fused at a 90-degree angle to the hour hand and the month hand respectively... so they'll move, just not with gen specs.

Update: the watch pics are posted, and everything came in one piece!

I don't think it's Li's fault (especially because apparently the boxes are shipped directly from the factory), but I'm disappointed in the box and its condition when it came in.

• The bag was crudely folded in half to fit it in the shipping box, putting a permanent crease in it and cracking the AP font print on both sides
• The inner box had dents in its corners
• There are scuffs/assorted scrapes on the wood case itself, not to mention it was freakin' filthy and smelled like rank chemicals out of the shipping box
• The button for releasing the top gets completely stuck within the box walls, and you gotta jiggle it for it to come out
• The section for the papers has two pieces holding it in place that just fall out because the smelly glue they used just straight-up doesn't work

It's cool to have this awesome rep in an AP box, but holy heck is it overpriced for what you get. With shipping, it was over $200 ($140+$65... yeah, I know, "u got scammed lol"), and it's worth more like $50... all-in.

Closing this thread out with my overall experience with Li: a 9.5/10, would recommend & purchase from again.
