Hi everyone,
so this is not only my first review, it is also my very first post - honestly I was one of those reading the forum to gather information for my first purchase.
Generally I was interested in a Rolex Sub, Seadweller and Daytona.
So why did I go for the sub v10 with aeta? The Daytona looks awesome, but despite all improvements of chinese movements my simple logic was the less complications it has, the more reliable it will be, so no daytona. The Dweller is nice but bulky, hard to know if it looks good without having it on my wrist. Also, the excited reviews about the v10, though I am aware replicas are never 100% perfect, convinced me to go for the sub.
My first idea was to buy it preowned in a facebook group but - especially as a noob (pun intended) - I was aware I can easily be ripped off. Long story short: a trusted dealer seemed the best solution, even if it costs me some extra dollars. As a german the biggest fear in this context is customs - so I was happy to learn about UK triangle shipping. Trusty seemed trust worthy, as they also have a website that does not look as if it was done with frontpage express in 1996.
Here my experience so far: Order yesterday evening, payment his morning, QC pictures this afternoon (asked andrew if it is ok to post them here, if it is, they will follow. This is my only small point for slight criticism so far, they could have been sharper. From what i can say, the watch looks perfect. Will keep you guys posted!
Thank you Andrew for the great experience so far and the friendly mail contact!
Will keep you guys posted about the rest of the future experience, may covid be merciful with me.
