Bit of a late post, but wanted to share the extremely positive experience I had with Hont. Certainly will be ordering more watches from them in the future.
Few months back, ordered two watches: 1) AF Cartier BB; 2) Clean Rolex Daytona.
AF BB:
- Time to QC: a couple of days
- QC process: read the forums to get guidance on how to QC the watch for myself, was fairly straightforward for the BB. Accepted it.
- Delivery time: ~2 weeks
- Wife loves it!
Clean Daytona:
- Time to QC: ~a month or so
- QC process: this one was a bit more involved than the BB. Chrono seconds was beating slowly, so asked Hont if he could correct it / get a new piece. He quickly agreed with me and sent pics of another piece in a few days. This one hit all the points I was looking out for. Accepted it.
- Delivery time: ~2 weeks
- As soon as it arrived, I was blown away with how beautiful the watch is in person. I am positive that I might have missed something in QC, but on the wrist, no one can really say.
Our first foray into the rep game, but surely not the last!
