I just received my Explorer II (ROLEXP2053A - Explorer II 226570 904L SS/SS Wht C+F VR3285 CHS) and wanted to share the excellent experience I had buying from Andrew.

The Process:

After placing the order on the website I was contacted with payment instructions. I arranged cash via WU (which was a little nerve wracking) but after a few days the payment was collected and about a week later I had QA pics. Due to a problem with email I probably added another week and a half to the process as he was waiting for a response from me, but on re-sending from a different email, he was quick to clarify my questions and about a week after giving the OK, I received a tracking link.

After checking the progress every day through 12 days of shipping, it arrived in my hands just a few days after entering the UK. The whole process from order to receipt took just under a month. Andrew was helpful and responsive throughout the process.

The Product:

Overall, I'm delighted with the watch which I intend to use for everyday wear. I own a few gen rolexes but did not want to sink any more serious cash into my collection to feed my addiction. Worn on the wrist, there's no way anyone would suspect it's a rep. The finishing and feel is excellent and although I could tell it was a rep when handling and inspecting it closely, I am used to handling genuine pieces, have watched a lot of videos and read a ton of posts and comparisons which normal people don't do.

I won't go into the things I picked up on in this post, but will say they are all very minor, and overall I am very surprised at how good it is. Certainly a lot better than I expected for the price.

Overall:

I'm very happy with the great service received. My advice is to be realistic with your expectations, be patient, and yes, based on my experience, you can trust Andrew @ Trusty Time!

Yes, I wear this almost every day. It's comfortable, flys under the radar and it is still keeping perfect time. Its picked up a few scratches etc as I don't baby it. I even dropped it on a hard floor once and it's still running absolutely fine. I'm pretty happy with it overall for the price. The way I look at it, is it's around the same price as a seiko diver but keeps better time and is more interesting. The only downside I can see is that the movement is a little crunchy when setting the time and was like that from new - perhaps I was unlucky, but from what I can see most of these clone movements have a bit of dirt and grit in them. I wasn't expecting it to be buttery smooth like my gen GMT. Next time, I'd probably pay a little extra to have the watch serviced and waterproofed by the dealer (WS001) to know that its been cleaned and lubricated properly and operating smoothly and then you also don't have to worry about taking it off when swimming. I do regularly get it wet and give it a scrub with a toothbrush and dish soap and I haven't had any issues. As long as you're not expecting perfection, I don't think you can go wrong with this one if you like the watch. The TD is sound, I've used him a few times and never had a problem.
