First time buyer, first time poster. QC advice?

Hello RWI. Glad to have found my way here. I'll get right to it. I hadn't planned on making a post here this early in the process of ordering my first watch, but I'd love some guidance, if possible. Andrew has been a pleasure to work with so far. I saw that he had some of the Subs that I'm interested in for sale on his website, through the trusted dealer list, of course. I read some of his reviews and figured I'd give him a shot. I ended up making a purchase for the noob v10 hulk. About 4 days later I received the QC emails, as stated. Everything looked good except for the cyclops APPEARS to not align properly with the date window. I wanted to share these QC photos with you all to see if the general consensus is to agree or disagree with my assessment. Am I being too much here or would you guys take issue with this as well? Half those pics are unnecessary

Yes the cyclops is misaligned, it's up to you to decide if you can accept it or not. I would personally accept the model because the rehaut is aligned. You can reject it if it's not your taste but you might get a worse one. There isn't a perfect rep out in the world.

Sorry, the reason I sent them all is that I was trying to also show the outer perimeter of the date window to the cyclops with no magnification present, to possibly aide the discussion.

Thank you for validating my concern. The rehaut is beautifully aligned. But I don't think I can live with an easily spotted, crooked cyclops. Such a "glaring" problem. Is it really that common to not have both the rehaut and cyclops aligned? Thank you for your time.

The cyclops is barely misaligned let's not exaggerate. You can find similar examples on gen if you look around.

My point being is that if you reject this one and wait for the next one you might get unlucky with both rehaut and cyclops.

Just reject it if you dont like the cyclops but i dont think much of us will have sympathy if you come back with a worse example.

The cyclops is very minimal. My gen DJ may even be worse that that. Just saying! Is it the cyclops or the date wheel? @Reaps is right, you could give it the RL and then get one that's considerably worse. But, if you don't like it, reject it. It's your call. What can you live with? Let's remember, these are reps. Even gens have flaws....to an extent. Any handmade items has tiny flaws. I look forward to your decision and showing us what you've approved! And I guess my photos were unnecessary, no matter how utterly relevant they were to the topic at hand. Silly me. Maybe I should've drawn some arrows in crayon, but figured others could infer. It's because first of all, QC pictures are only approved with a specific question. So you can ask "is my cyclops crooked, is my bezel broken, etc", but you cannot post your entire QC set and ask people to tell you. Irrelevant photos are often removed by moderators.

QC pics are to satisfy YOU that the watch is OK to YOUR standards, that there are no crooked indices, missing lume, offset chrono hands etc. QC pics are not for picking tells or things that are present in every example of a model such as spelling errors, happy feet, wrong lume colour etc. These...

You should read the QC rules. While you're at it, understand that you're buying a fake watch, and not a good version of it either. This isn't Reddit.
