First theone order and first submariner rep

Ordered my first submariner rep through theone after doing a lot of research.

Knew the color pattern I wanted and found that VS3135 is typically the best movement for 40mm submariners. Clean factory models' color looks closer to gen (the gold plating is less "orange" than VSF for example), but none of the top TD's seemed to be able to find a Clean factory model with VS movement (of my desired color pattern) in stock, so I settled for a full VSF model.

Theone has great recent reviews, and Steve responded to me and my questions the quickest, and helped make a recommendation that was consistent with my research, so I placed the order and got payment confirmation less than an hour later. Will update this thread with further progress!

QC received 3/13, less than 48 hours after placing the order! I like that two separate videos were shared, not only photos, including video of the timegrapher and video of the crown adjustments (winding + time + date). I sent a couple questions inquiring about some of the photos (concerns may just be part of the removable stickers).

UPDATE! Watch received this afternoon, so, Steve's quality is ok, of course is not the GEN one, by the way VSF quality is good, i will make some test in these days and i'll keep update on it. Anyway Steve has a very very very good service via WA regarding the order!

Interesting that you got a S29 case 40mm VSF Sub - thought the newest versions all where K2.... Serial?

Puretime, Jtime, Intime, Trusty, etc. are also just resellers. They all get the exact same watches from the factories with the same quality. Just making sure you understand.

Okay. It's just that "Steve's quality is... " could potentially be easily misinterpreted. "This rep's quality is XYZ" may be a clearer choice of words.

Watch arrived on Saturday! So total # of days from order to delivery: 16 days.

Included a note on my order to have links removed so it would fit my wrist, but that was not done, so I had to remove 3 links myself. However, that was easy enough to do myself from just watching a YouTube video and using a small flathead screwdriver.

I am by no means a detail-oriented watch expert, but the watch seems to be in perfect condition and functions perfectly as well. Wearing it for a couple days to make sure it continues to function well before taking all the stickers off, but so far so good!
