I got the watches 2 days ago, but I finally have time today after having power back after Sandy taking power away from me.
After sending more than 70 emails back and forth, I have decided to buy the Breitling Superocean Abyss, and Sead's YM. After placing an order, a week had passed before I finally decided to ask him of the QC pics. He said "soon". Three days later, when I asked him again, he told me the orders got mixed up and my order was sent out already. At this point--I'm not going to lie--I was frustrated. Not getting the QC pics was one thing, but because he said there was a mix-up, I was afraid I might get a wrong order. Sead said there was nothing to worry about and saying he would pay for the shipping back should there be a problem. And 2 hours after I got his ensuring email, the watches showed up on in front of my door.
Nervous, I cut the tape and opened the box.
I couldn't find a major flaw right out of the box. The lume on the second hand for the Breitling is little uneven, but other than that, the 2 watches are great. Oh and the bracelet for the YM doesn't seem as heavy as I thought it would be; but for the other part, they are great.
It seems that the YM has one of the best power reserve I've ever seen, and the Breitling has such a nice feel to it.
Some minor hiccups that could be neglected, and in my shallow experience with TD's so far--Sead and Silix, Sead beats out Silix in an instant!
