First Rep w/ TheOneWatches

Hi there, folks. I've had my first rep, an XF Pelagos in blue that I purchased from theonewatches, for a bit over a week, and thought I'd jot down my experience to add to the info here on the forums.

I contacted Steve on the 20th of June.

I had QC images and videos three days later on June 23rd. I approved the QC and greenlit the watch on the same day.

On June 26 Steve gave me tracking information for the parcel.

I received the watch on July 8th.

The watch looks fabulous and has been keeping great time. I have a handful of Seiko mods that I've built and a couple of other nicer watches, including a gen Tag and a vintage Omega, but aside from when exercising, this has been the only watch that's gotten wrist time. It's averaged about +8s/d since I've had it, though I'm just checking that by charting time, nothing particularly rigorous/scientific.


I'm very impressed with the watch overall. It looks fabulous, the fit and finish is excellent. It's also *not* a Rolex, so I think folks who do notice I'm wearing a watch are much less likely to know what it is, which I quite like.




I tossed it on a nice perlon strap, which I think may be the look through much of the rest of the summer.

Pelagos has also been a fave of mine. Something about the blue color makes me feel tranquil.
