Absolutely no shame in getting a solid cheapie.

Many of the established oldtimers here appreciate a nice "shitter", as they call them sarcastic-respectfully, as a daily beater or simply to try out a certain model before getting the higher grade rep or even gen.

Most importantly, you are self-aware. That is the key element in this hobby in the eyes of the community. Only a few things are more frowned upon than newbies trying to pass off their lower tier reps as the ultimate 1:1 super duper real Swiss clone replica. Which by the way always fails anyway with our top guys here who can still spot the highest grade rep from several miles away. How they do it, a mere mortal like myself will probably never know! lol

Anyway, enjoy your reps and don't be surprised telling yourself you don't need more than them today, and hitting the order button for a high grade rep tomorrow. Next thing you know, you own gens of the same watch with 3 different dial colors. Hahaha

We all know the pain!
