First rep purchase - ZF Tudor Black Bay 58 from Hont

Hi all, just made my first purchase, here it is:

Expectations going into this:

• I'm taking a risk buying from China, and probably won't be getting credit or refund if watch arrives DOA
• Hont has the best prices, but he's also a busy man, do not expect customer service, communications will be short and direct
• I should film myself opening the package in case anything goes wrong
• Customs may seize the package, I'm SOL if they do
• Shipping/customs may be slow, patience is a virtue
• Rep will have flaws, do not compare to gen but compare to other reps

Timeline of first communication to watch received:

• 8/15: first communication, questions answered within an hour
• 8/15: watch ordered, funds sent, funds received
• 8/16: 1st QC pics and video received
• 8/17: RL on 1st QC due to index alignment
• 8/17: 2nd QC pics and video received, GL
• 8/17: tracking info received
• 8/25: Watch delivered to door in Canada

Overall, I'm very happy with Hont's service. He was much more responsive than I anticipated. Pretty sure this is the fastest service you can get, assuming he has stock. He even included a free gift LV card holder. Thanks Hont! Will definitely be back for more.

Next steps for BB58 will be waterproofing and filing crown tube down. Looks like ZF BB58 V2 is still shipping with long crown tubes.

Nice! I took mine off the bracelet. It's either too loose or too tight. On a leather strap currently and looks rather nice

Very nice review. I have the blue 58 from Hont and love it. Had the genuine before, this one is really close. Only two downsides is the winding is a little off and I lost the "small ball" on the bezel, but was able to fix it with fast glue...
