Purchased a Cartier Santos Blue PVD, Blue Dial, with Steel Bracelet, gorgeous watch that is criminally underrated. It's literally the first men's wrist watch.
Back in 1904 Cartier himself designed it for his very famous mate, a Brazilian called Alberto Santos-Dumont, who was one of the first aviators ever along with the Wright Brothers, but Santos-Dumont didn't just limit himself to planes, he made and piloted experimental blimps/dirigibles too. Santos-Dumont found using pocket watches cumbersome whilst piloting his various experimental airships so Cartier designed for him the very first Wrist Watch. Then in 1911 it was put into mass production. I mean how cool is that? Talk about pedigree.
Anyhow as things progress I'll update.
