After spending alot of time reading & researching about the process, I decided to make the jump and purchase my first rep. I knew I wanted my first one to be a VSF Aqua Terra 8900, so I messaged several TDs for pricing and availability. Not only was Hont's price far lower, he included shipping & the free rubber straps, which I wanted. I was a little concerned about using Hont based on his reputation for lacking in communication, but the ~20-25% savings was worth it for me. Here is the timeline of my purchase:

Tuesday July 4 - Received price & availability along with payment details, if interested
Tuesday July 4 - Sent Payment via Wise
Wednesday July 5 - Received Confirmation of Receipt of Payment and QC pics
Wednesday Juy 5 - Requested add'l QC pics of datewheel
Thursday July 6 - Received several more QC pics. Sent GL.
Saturday July 8 - Received Tracking information
Wednesday July 19 - Received Watch
