Hey All,
Just wanted to post my first experience making a purchase of a Rep watch. I apologise if this isn't the right space. I recently bought a Carrera Classic Chronograph SS/LE from PerfectClones.
I'll start with the positives:
- Joshua is amazing. The communication from his side was nothing less than spectacular (typically less than 15 minute response times).
- The watch looks great. It's exactly what I was expecting in terms of appearance.
- Postage was incredibly fast - less than 2 weeks
- I've been offered an exchange
Negatives:
- The dials on the watch face either don't function properly or don't function at all. The 'hour' dial measures the minutes (i.e when the timer is started), and the 'minute' dial counts the hours (i.e. hand changes as the day progresses).
- The date counter doesn't change as a new day begins. It must be manually changed
It's possible that I missed something in the listing, but the functionality of the watch appears to be listed in the description. Is there anything in the listing that would make someone think that the watch doesn't perform correclty? I was told, after the purchase, that it's a 'light' version (possibly what 'LE' means in the name) of the watch and that I shouldn't expect all the functionality of the real watch. I mean, it makes sense that a watch that is cheaper probably doesn't function as well, but to not function at all?Wouldn't someone expect this all to be in the listing.
I have been offered an exchange, which is great, but I'm not sure whether it's worth spending another $50 on postage ($25 to send this one back and another $25 to have a different watch sent out).
