[First Rep Purchase - Fifty Fathoms] -- Just received QC pics...thoughts?

This is my very first rep purchase, and I am going with the BlancPain Fifty Fathoms.

I just received the QC photos and after reading one of the threads reviewing the Noob v2.....(https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...rial-Review-Blancpain-Fifty-Fathoms-(noob-v2)).....I am noticing the tilted 9 in my photos.

Am I being too anal, or is it just the angle of the photos? I've posted some close-up photos along with some gridlines.

Please let me know what you guys think since this is my first purchase...

I know reps aren't going to be perfect, but wanted everyone's opinions and advice since that's what the forum is for.

Thanks for your help!

I promise you won't see that when the face is only 1.5" in diameter.

It sucks that some numbers go on straight and some are slightly off, but when it is on the wrist and light is playing differently on the stainless rims of the numbers you will not be able to detect it.

I'm really anal and my FF is the best rep I've ever owned.

I think it depends on you. To me it is very bothering. And once you see it, you cannot unsee. Mine had a crooked dial and I was able to fix it by myself. But this "9" will not be an easy task.

If you are like me, and once you noticed it on the QC pics, you can be sure that you will notice this tilted nine every time you look at it.

What would be the best way to fix it?

One of the best Reps I've ever had. Believe me, when you're wearing it you won't notice. It's a real stunning watch! :)

Forget the 9 and just enjoy it!

I think you should buy a gen a do the same grids. You might be surprised what you'll see.

The 9 looks like it might be off kilter by just a smidgeon.
I bet if we put all our reps under a microscope with a grid pattern every one would have minor issues.
To expect every marker, piece of text or logo on a dial to be perfectly straight seems unrealistic to me.

I really dont know :)
My case was very easy. On your case you will have to take out the movemente and dial. I would take it to a pro, or mabe its better to leave like this.

Congrats on your first rep. Great choice! Love the rep and whatever flaws you can find. That is the beauty of paying a fraction compared to the gen ;-)
