I joined RWI almost a year ago to find a nice Cartier or AP RO.I think it is best to start low and slow. After reading reviews, multiple posts, and thorough research, I decided on the Cartier Ballon Bleu. I really, really wanted to get a SS/YG bracelet but it was hard to find. I decided on V6F, but TDs didn't have SS/YG.
Then I noticed the greatest photos buyers posted for the watch were all SS. Initially I contacted multiple dealers every few months to see if they had the watch I wanted. I think it helped me to trust them by reading their posts and buyer reviews often, in addition to the emails I sent. Of those who had what I wanted, I decided to focus on buying from those who had the most reviews from the happiest buyers, nicest photos, and trouble-free shipping.
I decided to get my watch from Sead. The price was right and he was very helpful. I decided to trust his opinion about the Ballon Bleu I ordered, as well as the face (silver vs. white), and as much as I wanted to get SS/YG, he recommended all SS. So, that is what I ordered.
The order and payment was made and confirmed yesterday 5/20/24 so now I will just wait patiently and keep you updated.
