First rep PAM111n not so perfect v3 - How???

Hi guys,

I would need your opinion on the photos below. I recently purchased this PAM111n v3 from Trevor.

However i noted the crown guard to be different from the v3 teardown review.

I was excited when i unwrapped the package but got disappointed with my first rep purchase after looking through the details.

I'm pretty sure the roller bearing in there is supposed to be there on a 111N. Is that teardown of gen CGs?

no need to be disappointed, the roller bearing is correct for the 111n v3, you got a fine watch there.

The teardown review doesnt show the roller bearing as per the teardown of CGs review.

Dial is fine but the crown guard was really disappointing.

Genoint: In what way is Jquick's dial faulty? The font looks yellowish?

I would say the stripdown review of PAM111 would need to update images on the CG from Noob factory. The current noob v3 CG doesnt look like Gen CG at all but more like H factory CG. I guess I have to hunt for CG parts now...

now sell me that crown guard and put whatever it is you think belongs on there on there.

OP, google "panerai 111N" and look for a watchuseek.com page for a person selling their 111N. CG looks like yours.

Your dial is correct, your CGs are correct. You have nothing to worry about!

Now, worry about your incabloc, MS screw, and other issues more than your CG.

I am afraid that you have the last good dial before the correct v3 ones. There is a thread about this. Your 2 for starters has a too stubby foot.
